Botanical Art
I  first grow the flowers in the massive gardens that
surround my Studio & Gallery, then they are harvested for
use in the winter months. The ever lastings are hung to
dry, to be used in the everlasting wreaths. Other flowers
are pressed to be used in the pressed flower verses, The
rest or the  flowers and herbs are dried and stored in air
tight containers to be used in making homemade
potpourris and herbal soaps.
I get my
inspiration, and
essential
supplies from
my garden to
create
everlasting gifts
to adorn your
home!
Wreaths are ancient symbols; Egyptian art shows that
they accompanied the dead on their voyage to the
other world. Throughout the ages the weaving of
plants and flowers in circular form has been a material
expression of the continuing cycles of the seasons, of
birth, death, and rebirth
.
