Originating in Germany around the 17th Century. It
was an economical form of decorating birth records,
marriages , and special milestones in our lives.
Each piece hand cut. Samples of this traditional art
form can be scene in museums throughout the
country
These are framed in the traditional way, with hand painted vinegar frames, the
European immigrants used this technique a lot. It was a way
to make inexpensive would look like an exotic wood like tiger eye maple. Frames are
also available.
